Zcash Tests $1,400 Support After 17.5% Retreat From Sept. High
ZEC fell below $1,500 after reaching a daily high of $1,686.17 on Sept. 26. A sustained break below $1,400 could expose the $1,300-to-$1,350 range.

Zcash (ZEC) is testing the $1,400 level after retreating about 17.5% from its late-September high, with a sustained break below that area potentially exposing the $1,300-to-$1,350 range.
ZEC reached a daily high of $1,686.17 on Sept. 26 before closing at $1,391.88 on Sept. 29. It also recorded a Sept. 29 low of $1,355.67.
The decline pushed ZEC below $1,500 and placed $1,400 at the center of the market’s near-term support test. A sustained move below that level would bring the $1,300-to-$1,350 range into focus.
The latest price action follows an earlier increase in a whale-linked long position. That position was detailed in earlier coverage, which said the address added about 8,017 ZEC during a Sept. 28 pullback and held roughly 18,400 ZEC.
The available market levels show continued pressure around ZEC after its late-September peak, while the $1,400 area remains the next key level to watch.
