Quant Rally Faces Profit-Taking Risk as Dormant Wallet Moves $6.97 Million
Quant rose 250% in a week as a founder-linked wallet transferred 25,776 QNT to newly created wallets without sending tokens to an exchange.

Quant (QNT) is testing the durability of its rally after rising 250% in a week, while renewed activity from a founder-linked wallet has raised questions about future token supply.
QNT climbed toward $330 before retreating to about $232. It later recovered and traded near $280, with $300 emerging as an important level for buyers.
The token’s relative strength index stood at 68.04, down from readings above 80 but still signaling elevated momentum. The indicator measures the pace of recent price changes and is commonly used to assess whether an asset has moved sharply in one direction.
The rally coincided with activity from a wallet linked to Quant’s founder. After about seven years of inactivity, the wallet transferred 25,776 QNT worth roughly $6.97 million to newly created wallets.
The tokens were not sent to a centralized exchange, so the transfer did not confirm that they were being prepared for sale. The original wallet still holds about 600,000 QNT valued at approximately $160.39 million.
Additional transfers to exchanges would put more attention on the wallet’s available supply, but the latest transaction alone does not establish that selling has started.
A separate long-held wallet previously moved 9,000 QNT to Coinbase and Kraken on Sept. 28, as detailed in an earlier report on Quant wallet activity.
