Lighter Falls Below $4 as Robinhood Rolls Out Perpetual Futures

Lighter’s LIT token fell below $4 on Sept. 30 as Robinhood expanded access to crypto perpetual futures for eligible U.S. users, putting renewed focus on the token’s connection to the trading platform.

LIT reached $3.648 during the session and closed at $3.770, down 4.48%. The token had traded as high as $5.55 on Sept. 24 before retreating below the $4 level.

Robinhood’s perpetual-futures offering allows eligible users to trade selected crypto products with leverage of up to 10X. Its wallet documentation also lists perpetual futures on Lighter for eligible users in selected jurisdictions.
