OPEC+ Sets Oct. 4 Meeting to Review November Oil Output Targets
The alliance is expected to maintain current targets at its Oct. 4 meeting after keeping September production requirements in place for October.
OPEC+ is expected to keep its November oil-production targets unchanged at an online meeting Oct. 4, a decision that would signal no additional planned supply increase for the month.
The outcome has not been finalized. The expected rollover follows the alliance’s Sept. 6 decision to maintain September 2026 required production levels for October 2026.
The effect on physical supply is less clear because actual production has remained below official targets. An unchanged target would therefore preserve the group’s nominal supply plan without necessarily indicating an equivalent change in barrels reaching the market.
OPEC+’s seven core members are Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman. Its broader production framework remains in place through Dec. 31, 2026, while members prepare capacity assessments that will help guide production baselines for 2027.
The next meeting of the seven participating countries is scheduled for Oct. 4, when members are expected to review the November target plan.
