Short positions totaled $4.91 billion, representing 53.17% of whale exposure. Long positions amounted to $4.32 billion, or 46.83% of the total.
Long positions showed a combined profit of $535 million, while short positions carried $588 million in losses.
An address identified as 0x5b5d..60 held a five-times, full-margin Ether (ETH) short position at $2,304.06. The position had an unrealized loss of $40.41 million.
The latest reading was higher than an earlier Hyperliquid whale-position report that showed $8.693 billion in total positions, with shorts again ahead of longs.
