Grayscale’s Zcash ETF completed a 3-for-1 share split before the U.S. market opened Sept. 30, lowering its per-share net asset value while leaving shareholders’ total investment value unchanged.

Shareholders recorded at the close of business Sept. 28 received two additional shares for every pre-split share. Each existing share therefore became three post-split shares.

The adjustment reduced the fund’s net asset value per share to about one-third of its pre-split level. The split changed the number of shares outstanding and the per-share value, but not the total value of an investor’s holdings.

The fund continues to trade on NYSE Arca under the ZCSH ticker. Its CUSIP number also remained unchanged after the split.
