Aster (ASTER) climbed 5.13% to $0.7640 as Bitcoin (BTC) traded near $83,700, above the $82,000 support area identified in analysis and supporting broader altcoin prices.

ASTER traded within a 24-hour range of $0.7228 to $0.7790, with volume reaching $220.42 million. A separate market reading placed the token at $0.7519 at 9:53 p.m. ET Sept. 30 (01:53 UTC Oct. 1), with $214.89 million in 24-hour volume.

The move lifted ASTER above the $0.74 midpoint of its recent $0.67-$0.81 range. The recovery has not confirmed a lasting trend change, however. The key level is $0.813 for a sustained longer-term bullish structure.

Bitcoin traded between $82,927.87 and $85,599.80, with the latest reading at $83,701.56. The price remained above the $82,000 support area identified in earlier coverage of Bitcoin’s $82,000 support test, although available market data did not show BTC trading exactly at $82,000.

ASTER closed at $0.725152 on Sept. 29, while Bitcoin closed at $83,640 on Sept. 29 in UTC-dated historical data. The two assets therefore remained near recent levels despite ASTER’s 24-hour gain.

Trading indicators offered limited confirmation of stronger momentum. Three-day volume only marginally exceeded its 20-period moving average in September, while the accumulation/distribution indicator had not moved materially higher.

ASTER is used for governance and protocol-related functions. Protocol revenue may also fund token buybacks.
