Ether (ETH) fell 1.41% in one hour to $2,683 at 3:28 a.m. ET (07:28 UTC) Thursday, extending a sharp short-term decline in the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.

The token was trading at $2,721 one hour earlier. Ether remained up 0.41% from 24 hours earlier, based on TokenPost’s direct collection and calculation of public exchange prices. The current price was measured on Binance’s ETH/USDT spot market.

Long liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX totaled $2.85 million during the same one-hour period, compared with $60,000 in short liquidations.

Ether’s market capitalization was approximately $331.34596 billion.
