Crypto Futures Liquidations Reach $164 Million, Led by Long Positions

Long liquidations totaled $107 million, compared with $57.4 million for shorts. Bitcoin and Ether liquidations were $23.9 million and $21.3 million, respectively.

Long positions accounted for about 65% of $164 million in crypto futures liquidations over the 24 hours through Oct. 1, with $107 million in forced closures compared with $57.4 million for short positions.

Bitcoin (BTC) liquidations totaled $23.9 million, while Ether (ETH) liquidations reached $21.3 million. The largest single liquidation was $3.1 million on HYPERLIQUID-ZEC-USD.
