Crypto derivatives liquidations reached $191 million over the past 24 hours, with long positions accounting for most of the total even as Bitcoin and Ether saw more short positions liquidated.

Long liquidations totaled $107 million, compared with $83.38 million for short positions. The figures show the overall losses were concentrated among traders betting on rising prices, while the largest asset-level totals for Bitcoin and Ether came from short positions.

Bitcoin (BTC) long liquidations reached $11.87 million, while short liquidations totaled $24.71 million. Ether (ETH) long liquidations came to $11.03 million, compared with $15.69 million in short liquidations.

A total of 66,942 people were liquidated during the period. The largest single liquidation was a $3.14 million ZEC-USD position on Hyperliquid.
