Ether Shorts Lose $17.12 Million in One Hour as Price Rises

Ether (ETH) short positions worth $17.12 million were liquidated in the hour ending at 5:21 p.m. ET (21:21 UTC) on Oct. 2, as the asset’s price rose 1.53% to $2,769.

Total Ether liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX reached $17.23 million in that hour. Long positions accounted for $110,000, while shorts made up the remainder.
