Real-world-asset (RWA) perpetual futures traded $2.57 trillion in the third quarter of 2026, more than double the previous quarter, with centralized exchanges handling more than 80% of activity.
The market recorded about $1.27 trillion in volume in the second quarter. August contributed $957 billion to the third-quarter total.
Binance led platforms with about $1.22 trillion in Q3 volume, nearly half of the total. Decentralized exchanges handled $365 billion, a 32% increase from the second quarter.
Public-equity contracts generated about $175 billion, nearly 48% of Q3 RWA perpetual DEX volume.
