Bitcoin’s Long Liquidations Reach $9.72 Million in One Hour

Bitcoin (BTC) saw $9.72 million in long positions liquidated in the hour through 10:36 a.m. ET (14:36 UTC) on Oct. 2, as its price declined 1.29%. The figures cover public liquidation data collected and aggregated by TokenPost from Binance, Bybit and OKX.

Total liquidations across the three exchanges reached $10.69 million during the hour. Short positions accounted for $970,000. Bitcoin fell from $87,020 to $85,894 over the same period.

The tally is limited to those three exchanges and does not represent total liquidations across the market. Bitcoin is the cryptocurrency with the largest market capitalization.
