Crypto Liquidations Total $119.18 Million in One Hour, Mostly Longs

Liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX totaled $119.18 million in the hour ending at 4:16 a.m. ET (08:16 UTC) on Oct. 3, with long positions accounting for nearly all of the losses in the three-exchange tally.

Long liquidations reached $118.08 million, compared with $1.10 million in short liquidations. The tally included 17,777 liquidation events.

Binance recorded $80.07 million in liquidations, followed by Bybit at $21.06 million and OKX at $18.05 million. By asset, Ether (ETH) led with $22.57 million, while Bitcoin (BTC) had $15.60 million and ZEC had $13.35 million.

The figures cover public liquidation data collected from those three exchanges and are not a market-wide total. The measurement was taken at 4:16 a.m. ET (08:16 UTC) on Oct. 3.
