Sui Climbs 6.05% in Four Hours to $1.20 as Short Liquidations Hit $190,000

Sui (SUI) rose 6.05% in four hours to $1.20 as of 9:11 p.m. ET Oct. 2 (01:11 UTC Oct. 3), while short liquidations reached $190,000 during the same one-hour period.

SUI moved up from $1.13 four hours earlier. The token was also up 2.29% over 24 hours. Its price was $1.20 on Binance's spot SUI/USDT market at 10:11 a.m. Korea time Oct. 3 (01:11 UTC).

Across Binance, Bybit and OKX, the same one-hour liquidation tally showed $10,000 in long positions liquidated, compared with $190,000 in short positions. Liquidations occur when exchanges close leveraged positions after traders can no longer meet margin requirements.

Sui ranked 27th by market capitalization, at about $4.80337 billion.
