Bitcoin Falls Below $85,500 After Another Rejection at $87,000

Bitcoin recovered to about $86,000 on Monday, while Cardano’s ADA climbed nearly 11% to $0.27 over 24 hours.

Bitcoin (BTC) retreated below $85,500 on Monday after reaching $87,000, then recovered to about $86,000 as Cardano’s ADA climbed nearly 11% over 24 hours.

Bitcoin’s market capitalization was $1.720 trillion, and Bitcoin dominance stood at 59%. The asset had risen above $87,000 on Friday after a weak U.S. jobs report, but fell below $84,000 within hours. It recovered over the weekend, reaching $85,000 on Sunday before its latest move to $87,000.

Among other major assets, Ether (ETH) traded just above $2,700, while XRP rose 1.2% to above $1.50. NEAR gained 5% to reclaim $5, Dogecoin (DOGE) rose 3.75%, and HYPE added 3.5%.

ADA reached $0.27. FET gained more than 15%, while VIRTUAL rose 12%. The total crypto market capitalization increased 1% to $2.930 trillion.
