Long Positions Make Up Most of $168 Million in Crypto Liquidations
About $106 million in long positions and $61.8 million in short positions were liquidated over 24 hours. Bitcoin and Ether longs totaled $52.3 million.
Long positions accounted for about $106 million of $168 million in crypto liquidations over 24 hours, while short positions accounted for approximately $61.8 million.
Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) long positions totaled $52.3 million. Bitcoin longs made up $39.7 million, and Ether longs accounted for $12.7 million.
Short liquidations totaled $13.6 million for Bitcoin and $7.4 million for Ether. About 64,000 people were liquidated during the period.
The largest single liquidation was an $11.85 million BTCUSDT position on Binance.
