Cap Short Liquidations Reach About $99,300 as Token Rises 23%

Open interest increased by about $6.16 million to $32 million at press time, while spot and perpetual market volume reached about $126 million.

Cap (CAP) rose about 23% over 24 hours as open interest increased and buying volume exceeded selling volume in its perpetual market, while short liquidations far outpaced long liquidations on Oct. 6.

Open interest rose by about $6.16 million to $32 million at press time. The funding rate was 0.0050%, and perpetual market volume reached $102.67 million.

Across spot and perpetual markets, trading volume totaled about $126 million, more than 450% higher over the 24-hour period. The taker buy/sell ratio was about 1.02, indicating that buy volume exceeded sell volume.

Short liquidations totaled about $99,300 on Oct. 6, compared with $8,260 in long liquidations, a ratio of about 12 to 1. On Oct. 5, short liquidations were about $47,160, versus $3,440 in long liquidations, or about 13.7 times as much.
