Open USD Holds $666.3 Million as 10 Wallets Control 74% of Supply
The Oct. 5 snapshot showed $4.1 million in decentralized exchange volume across four networks since the stablecoin launched Sept. 30.

Open USD (OUSD) had $666.3 million outstanding on Oct. 5, with 10 wallets holding 74% of its supply and decentralized exchange volume totaling about $4.1 million since its Sept. 30 launch.
Eight Bridge-funded wallets on Tempo still held a combined $396 million at the Oct. 5 snapshot. Wallet balances cannot identify the ultimate owners or show customer activity within custody accounts.
OUSD launched on Base, Ethereum, Solana and Tempo. Bridge issues the stablecoin, while Open Standard operates the network. OUSD offers businesses fee-free minting and redemption without liquidity limits. Eligible Open Standard partners may receive rewards for balances kept at Bridge.
Tempo held $472.8 million, or 71% of the supply, but accounted for about $17,000 of the DEX volume recorded across the four networks from Sept. 30 through Oct. 5. Solana accounted for $3.4 million and Base for $700,000; Ethereum recorded no volume.
Tempo recorded 11,544 transfers during the snapshot period. Of those, 8,377, or 73%, were classified as network-fee payments, with a combined value of $3.33.
Transfers from staged wallets, redemptions and activity on Tempo’s exchange are measures for tracking OUSD use beyond launch and distribution wallets. The first-week snapshot does not establish whether the stablecoin will gain wider adoption.
