Ether Long Liquidations Reach $52.41 Million in One Hour

Ether (ETH) long-position liquidations reached $52.41 million in the hour ending at 10:58 p.m. ET Tuesday (02:58 UTC Wednesday), as the cryptocurrency’s price fell 2.14% to $2,612 from $2,669.

Total Ether liquidations reached $52.84 million during the period. Short-position liquidations accounted for $420,000, leaving long positions responsible for nearly all of the reported forced closures.

The figures were calculated from publicly available liquidation data collected from Binance, Bybit and OKX. They represent the combined total from those three exchanges, not the full cryptocurrency market.

Ether is the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.
