A newly created wallet bought 25 Pudgy Penguins NFTs after Abstract’s shutdown announcement, while the collection’s floor price rose 6.8% in 24 hours to 3.3 Ether (ETH).

The wallet first withdrew $1 million from Kraken before using the funds to purchase the NFTs. It still held Ether valued at $766,000 as of publication.

Abstract was gradually shutting down, while parent company Igloo Inc. shifted its focus entirely to Pudgy Penguins, Pudgy NFTs and PENGU.

The activity came as the Pudgy Penguins collection’s floor price reached 3.3 ETH on Oct. 7.
