OKX To List Pre-IPO OURAUSD X Contract For Valuation Trading

The USD-settled contract will reference a company that has not completed an initial public offering, allowing users to trade changes in its valuation.

OKX will list a Pre-IPO OURAUSD X contract, giving crypto market participants a way to trade changes in the valuation of a company that has not completed an initial public offering.

The contract is settled in U.S. dollars and uses a pre-IPO company as its reference asset. Users can trade changes in the referenced company’s valuation through the derivative.

OKX announced the planned listing Wednesday at 3:03 a.m. ET (07:03 UTC).

The contract is designed to let users trade valuation changes before the referenced company completes an IPO. OURAUSD identifies the contract tied to the referenced company.
