Sui Trades Near $1.20 as Conflicting Readings Highlight $1.205 Resistance
SUI traded between $1.1342 and $1.1372 in Oct. 7 readings after recovering from a reported 2026 low near $0.64.

Sui (SUI) traded near $1.20 on Oct. 7 as conflicting market readings highlighted resistance near $1.205 and left the token in a narrow technical range after its reported recovery from about $0.64.
SUI traded at $1.1342 in one Oct. 7 reading, down 3.73% on the day. A separate live reading placed the token at $1.1372, down 4.50%. SUI closed at $1.18 on Oct. 6, with historical-data dates recorded in UTC.
The reported recent trading range was $1.15 to $1.25. Immediate support was identified near $1.139, while resistance was placed between $1.192 and $1.205. A move above $1.205 would represent an initial improvement in the near-term structure, while a break below $1.139 would bring the $1.05-$1.09 area into focus.
A sustained close above the $1.30-$1.35 zone, followed by a successful retest, was described as supporting possible moves toward $1.50 and $1.65. Those levels remain part of a conditional technical scenario rather than a confirmed market move.
Momentum indicators were mixed. The 14-period Relative Strength Index was near 43, below the neutral 50 level, while the Stochastic oscillator was near 25. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator showed slightly negative momentum.
The move coincided with broader altcoin weakness, with total altcoin market capitalization down about 2% over the relevant 24-hour period. No Sui-specific catalyst was identified in the available market discussion.
SUI’s Oct. 6 close came with about $825.37 million in trading volume and a market capitalization of roughly $4.999 billion.
Mysten Labs said Oct. 6 that it was developing Verifiable Agent Arbiter with Google Cloud. The project is designed to record what an artificial intelligence agent was permitted to do, what it did and what resulted. Cryptographic proofs are stored on Walrus, while coordination is handled on Sui.
“Verifiable Agent Arbiter brings together records of what an agent was permitted to do, what it did, and what resulted,” Mysten Labs co-founder and CEO Evan Cheng said.
The next market test is whether SUI can move through the $1.205 resistance area and later sustain a close above the broader $1.30-$1.35 zone.
