Litecoin (LTC) traded near $68 on Oct. 7 as mixed short-term indicators kept $64.21 in focus as a key support level and placed immediate resistance at $70.04.

LTC was priced at $67.71 at 5:01 a.m. ET (09:01 UTC), down 2.65% after reaching an intraday low of $66.54. Separate market-data readings recorded LTC at $67.67, down 2.70%, at 4:04:12 a.m. ET (08:04:12 UTC), and $67.66, down 2.94%, at 1:51 a.m. ET (05:51 UTC).

Short-term momentum readings were limited. The MACD histogram was 0.0000, while the relative strength index was 59.77. The stochastic oscillator showed 45.31 for %K and 36.25 for %D.

The pivot was $68.29, with immediate resistance at $70.04 and immediate support at $65.96. Stronger support stood at $64.21. The upper Bollinger Band was $76.45, while the lower band was $57.50.

LTC remained above its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, which were $57.71 and $51.57, respectively. Its seven-day simple moving average and 12-period exponential moving average were above the current price.

The technical levels describe possible market scenarios rather than confirmed future prices. Failure to regain $68.29 and $70.04 would weaken the short-term setup, while a move below $64.21 would undermine the bullish case. Bitcoin’s broader market direction could also outweigh Litecoin-specific signals.
