Bitcoin (BTC) faced a market pullback on Oct. 7 as BTC CVD data showed medium- and large-sized whale groups shifting from selling to buying, while retail investors continued to sell.

A purple whale group was buying back Bitcoin it had previously sold. A red whale group also continued buying after the decline.

The activity may have been a major driver of the decline, but the whale groups shifted toward buying after prices fell. Retail investors, meanwhile, continued to show a selling trend.
