Bitcoin Long Liquidations Reach $11.98 Million in One Hour

Bitcoin (BTC) long-position liquidations reached $11.98 million in the hour ending at 6:11 a.m. ET (10:11 UTC) on Oct. 7, as traders holding bullish positions absorbed most of the forced closures.

Total Bitcoin liquidations reached $12.02 million during the period. Short-position liquidations accounted for $40,000, leaving long liquidations at more than 99% of the total.

The figures are based on TokenPost’s direct collection and aggregation of public liquidation data from Binance, Bybit and OKX. The tally covers those three exchanges and does not represent the entire market.

Bitcoin’s price declined from $83,908 to $83,858 over the same hour, a 0.06% drop.
