BlackRock’s U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF attracted $545.57 million across four trading sessions through Oct. 6, offsetting $253.87 million in outflows from its Ether ETF and producing a combined net inflow of $291.7 million.

The figures cover the sessions from Oct. 1 through Oct. 6, excluding the weekend. The result shows that the overall increase came from stronger demand for Bitcoin exposure rather than simultaneous inflows into both products.

The iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) is designed to give investors exposure to Bitcoin (BTC) and holds the asset for shareholders. The iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) primarily holds Ether (ETH) through a custodian.

Both exchange-traded products can be accessed through brokerage accounts. Their reported flows reflect the creation and redemption of ETF shares, rather than direct cryptocurrency purchases by BlackRock for its corporate balance sheet.

ETHA’s net assets also declined by approximately $201.89 million on Oct. 6, its largest single-day decrease since Jan. 21. That change in net assets is separate from the $253.87 million cumulative net outflow recorded across the four-session period.
