GSR Raises Bitcoin Weight to 40.9% in Core3 Portfolio Rebalance
The portfolio reduced Ether to 28.7% and Solana to 30.4% following last week’s market decline across all three assets.

GSR raised Bitcoin’s share of its Core3 model portfolio to 40.9% following last week’s decline across the crypto market, giving the largest allocation to the asset with the lowest recent volatility among the three holdings.
The Bitcoin weighting was raised 12.3% to 40.9%. Ether’s allocation fell to 28.7%, while Solana’s declined to 30.4%.
The rebalancing followed weekly losses across all three assets. Bitcoin fell 1.4%, Ether dropped 5.1% and Solana declined 3.8%. Each asset remained higher over the past 30 days.
Bitcoin also had the deepest trading-volume support in the group. The combination of lower volatility and stronger market liquidity supported its larger allocation in the latest portfolio mix.
The change follows the Sept. 23 Core3 allocation, when Solana held the largest share at 45.7%. Ether accounted for 31.5% and Bitcoin 22.8% at that time.
Bitcoin now leads the portfolio, while Solana remains ahead of Ether despite its reduced weighting.
