U.S. Government-Linked Wallet Transfers 1,583.8 BTC to Coinbase Prime

A U.S. government-linked wallet transferred 1,583.8 Bitcoin (BTC), valued at about $134 million, to Coinbase Prime during a 24-hour period ending Oct. 7.

The transfer accounted for most of the approximately $165 million in assets moved from the wallet during that period. A separate transaction earlier in the day involved about $103 million in assets, followed by another transfer of 750.2 wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) valued at roughly $62.34 million.

The 1,583.8 BTC total includes the assets that entered Coinbase Prime during the 24-hour window. The blockchain movement shows a transfer to the platform but does not establish that the Bitcoin was sold.

The aggregation was recorded at about 11:05 a.m. ET (15:05 UTC) on Oct. 7.
