Orca (ORCA) Rises 12% as $2.50 Support Faces FOMC Minutes
ORCA reached $2.84 as trading volume doubled to $384 million and derivatives volume rose 239% to $616 million.

Orca (ORCA) rose about 12% over 24 hours to $2.84 as higher trading volume and open interest increased attention on the token’s next technical levels.
Trading volume doubled to $384 million, while derivatives volume climbed 239% to $616 million. Open interest reached $9.86 million, indicating that more positions were active as ORCA advanced, although the figure does not show whether traders favored further gains.
The next key test was the $2.50 level. Holding above that price was necessary for the current uptrend to continue, while a break below it would put the trend at risk.
A liquidation heatmap showed a $6.93 million liquidity cluster near $3.90, making that level the next significant resistance. The cluster identifies an area of concentrated liquidity but does not confirm that ORCA will reach the price.
The Federal Open Market Committee minutes were scheduled for release at 2 p.m. ET (18:00 UTC) Wednesday. A hawkish reading could encourage profit-taking in crypto, while a supportive market response could give ORCA’s rally another push. With open interest rising, either reaction could produce sharper swings around the token’s key levels.
The advance comes after Orca DAO proposed a treasury overhaul that includes plans for acquisitions, fee allocations and a team-managed ORCA buyback account.
