Oil prices rose as renewed Middle East hostilities heightened concerns about disruptions to energy infrastructure and Gulf export routes, adding pressure to global markets and crypto risk sentiment.

Brent crude futures for December delivery gained 1.36% to $101.54 a barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures for November rose 1.04% to $89.32 per barrel.

Recent attacks by Iran-backed Houthis targeted airports in Saudi Arabia, including facilities in Jazan and Najran. Tankers have also come under attack near the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global oil shipments.

The latest escalation has kept energy infrastructure and shipping routes at the center of market concerns. Any disruption affecting traffic through Hormuz or Saudi energy facilities would threaten physical oil supply and add to price pressure.
