Bitcoin Falls Below $83,000 as Real-World Asset Tokens Lead Crypto Losses

The RWA sector dropped 6.73% over 24 hours, while Ether fell 3.86% below $2,600.

Bitcoin (BTC) fell 2.41% and traded below $83,000 as cryptocurrency markets broadly declined, with real-world asset tokens recording the steepest sector loss over 24 hours.

The real-world asset, or RWA, sector fell 6.73%. Sky (SKY) declined 9.85%, while Ondo Finance (ONDO) dropped 3.61%.

Ether (ETH) fell 3.86% and traded below $2,600. Other major sectors also moved lower, including decentralized finance at 3.09%, layer-2 tokens at 3.33% and meme tokens at 3.61%.

The broad decline extended across sector indexes, with the ssiRWA index down 6.42%, the ssiDePIN index down 5.84% and the ssiSocialFi index down 4.79%.
