Jupiter Leads Crypto Gainers as 75 of Top 90 Tokens Decline

Jupiter rose 13.43% to $0.377 by 2:15 a.m. ET on Oct. 8, while Bitcoin and Ether both fell and only 15 of the 90 largest cryptocurrencies advanced.

Jupiter led gains among the largest cryptocurrencies early Oct. 8, rising 13.43% as 75 of the 90 biggest tokens declined over the 24 hours ending at 2:15 a.m. ET (06:15 UTC).

Jupiter (JUP) reached $0.377 and ranked 70th by market capitalization. Bitway (BTW), ranked 33rd, gained 12.75% to $1.38.

Raydium (RAY) rose 9.95% to $2.45, while NEAR Protocol (NEAR) added 7.18% to $5.48. Cosmos Hub (ATOM) posted a smaller gain of 1.44% to reach $1.73.

Declines were more widespread. Sky (SKY) fell 10.19% to $0.0790, the largest drop among the listed decliners. Stacks (STX) declined 8.99% to $0.365, followed by Midnight (NIGHT), which lost 7.77% to $0.0449.

Venice Token (VVV) dropped 7.16% to $24.96, while Pump.fun (PUMP) fell 6.87% to $0.00603.

Excluding stablecoins, 15 of the 90 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization advanced and 75 declined. Bitcoin (BTC) stood at $82,849, down 1.70% over 24 hours, while Ether (ETH) traded at $2,570, down 1.90%.
