Bitcoin Tests $82,000 Support After $487 Million ETF Outflows
Bitcoin fell 1.8% in 24 hours to $82,652.75 early Thursday as U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted net outflows on Oct. 7.

Bitcoin (BTC) was at $82,652.75 at 12:55 a.m. ET (04:55 UTC) Thursday, down 1.8% over 24 hours and close to the $82,000-$83,000 support zone.
Bitcoin moved between $82,317.68 and $84,340.14 over the previous 24 hours. Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $487.07 million leave on Oct. 7, after attracting $118.86 million the day before, adding pressure to the market.
The decline also followed about $546 million in liquidations over the previous day, with roughly 88% involving long positions. Perpetual-futures open interest stood at about $68.13 billion, while 24-hour trading volume was approximately $37.34 billion.
Federal Reserve officials raised the target range for the federal funds rate by 25 basis points to 3.75%-4.00% on Sept. 16. Most participants indicated another increase could be appropriate by year-end, keeping monetary policy in focus for crypto markets.
The Fed’s next scheduled meeting is set for Oct. 27-28.
