JUP traded at $0.3861 on Oct. 8, while overbought hourly momentum and a narrowing MACD histogram raised the risk of a short-term pullback.

Jupiter’s JUP token held above key daily moving averages on Oct. 8, keeping its broader bullish structure intact as short-term momentum pushed the price toward $0.3918 resistance.

JUP traded at $0.3861 on Binance’s live JUP/USDT daily candle, while the last completed daily candle closed at $0.3590. The live price was an intraday reading rather than a confirmed daily close.

The $0.3918 level marked the upper Bollinger Band on the hourly chart. An hourly close above it would support continued bullish momentum, while a close below $0.3819 would point to a short-term retracement.

JUP’s daily exponential moving averages remained below the market price, with the 20-day average at $0.3185, the 50-day average at $0.2768 and the 200-day average at $0.2220. The corresponding hourly averages stood at $0.3533, $0.3446 and $0.3372.

Momentum was stronger on shorter time frames. The relative strength index, or RSI, measured 66.9 on the daily chart, 80.6 on the hourly chart and 71.5 on the 15-minute chart. RSI readings above 70 are commonly viewed as overbought, making the hourly reading the most stretched of the three.

The hourly MACD histogram was narrowing, another sign that near-term momentum was weakening even as the larger daily structure remained constructive. That combination left JUP testing whether it could sustain its advance without breaking below its short-term support levels.

The hourly pivot stood at $0.3769, with nearby support at $0.3757, $0.3754 and $0.3742. A break below those levels would weaken the short-term setup, but the indicators did not establish that the broader daily trend had reversed.
