WTI Crude Oil Rises 3.4% to $94.03 a Barrel Thursday
Brent crude gained 3.26% to $107.86 a barrel as oil prices moved sharply higher during U.S. morning trading.

WTI crude oil rose 3.42% to $94.03 a barrel at 9:31 a.m. ET (13:31 UTC) Thursday, marking a sharp move in a market watched closely by inflation-sensitive and risk-asset traders.
Brent crude, the international benchmark, gained 3.26% to $107.86 a barrel at the same time. The gains came as other major markets showed mixed moves, with European equities largely little changed to lower.
Gold rose 0.2% to $4,123.11 an ounce, while silver fell 0.52% to $59.077 an ounce. The dollar was little changed against major currencies, rising 0.03% against the offshore Chinese yuan and 0.07% against the Japanese yen.
