Ether was down 1.81% over 24 hours, while one-hour long liquidations reached $18.18 million across three exchanges.

Ether (ETH) fell 2.25% in four hours to $2,510 at 9:43 a.m. ET (13:43 UTC) Oct. 8.

Ether fell from $2,567 four hours earlier to $2,510 in Binance spot ETH/USDT trading. The asset was down 1.81% from its level 24 hours earlier.

Long liquidations totaled $18.18 million over the same one-hour period across Binance, Bybit and OKX, compared with $390,000 in short liquidations. Ether remains the second-largest crypto asset by market capitalization.
