U.S. government-linked wallets moved 12,267.02 Bitcoin (BTC) worth about $1.01 billion on Thursday, shifting a large holding tied to seized funds from the Bitfinex hack.

The transfer occurred at 9:33 a.m. ET (13:33 UTC). About 6,000 BTC moved in two transactions to a new address identified as 33pYK…cFk, while roughly 6,267 BTC remained at another new address.

The movement followed more than 6,200 BTC in transfers from related government-linked wallets to Coinbase Prime over the previous two days.

The transactions add to a series of movements involving bitcoin held in wallets labeled as controlled by the U.S. government, with the latest batch valued at approximately $1.01 billion when it moved.
