U.S. Government-Linked Wallet Moves $1.006 Billion in Bitcoin
The wallet transferred 12,267.02 BTC, with 6,000 BTC sent to a new address in two transactions.

A U.S. government-linked wallet moved 12,267.02 Bitcoin (BTC) worth about $1.006 billion on Oct. 8, marking another major transfer from funds labeled as seized in the Bitfinex hack.
About 6,000 BTC moved in two transactions to a new address ending in “cFk,” while roughly 6,267 BTC remained in another newly created address.
The wallet had already transferred about $670 million in digital assets from Oct. 7 into early Oct. 8. That activity included 6,215.7 BTC valued at about $520 million, 119 million Tether (USDT) and 40,285 BNB worth about $31.63 million.
The Bitcoin and USDT transfers from that earlier activity went to Coinbase Prime. The latest movement adds another billion-dollar-scale Bitcoin transaction to the wallet’s recent activity.
