U.S. Bitcoin ETFs Post Biggest Outflow Since June 25

Spot Bitcoin ETFs lost $484.9 million on Oct. 7, while Ether ETFs recorded $160.9 million in outflows for a seventh straight session.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their largest one-day withdrawal since June 25 on Oct. 7, as investors pulled $484.9 million from the products during a broader cryptocurrency market decline.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, known by its ticker IBIT, led the outflows with $207.7 million. Fidelity’s FBTC recorded $105.1 million in withdrawals, while ARK 21Shares’ ARKB lost $101.7 million.

Spot Ether ETFs also faced heavy redemptions, losing $160.9 million for their seventh consecutive trading session. BlackRock’s ETHA accounted for $116.1 million of the outflows, and Grayscale’s ETHE recorded $25.8 million.

Ether ETF withdrawals totaled approximately $568.8 million from Sept. 29 through Oct. 7. Combined Bitcoin and Ether ETF outflows reached about $645.8 million on Oct. 7, reversing the previous session’s $118.8 million Bitcoin ETF inflow.
