Crypto Derivatives See $455 Million in Liquidations in One Hour
Long positions accounted for $427 million, or about 93.7% of the total, as Ether led liquidations among major tokens.

Crypto derivatives markets recorded $455 million in liquidations over one hour, with leveraged long positions bearing about 93.7% of the losses as major tokens declined.
Long-position liquidations totaled $427 million, compared with $28.6 million for short positions. The imbalance was also visible across major exchanges: Binance recorded $263 million in liquidations, Bybit had $68.5 million, Gate had $36.97 million and OKX had $30.7 million. Long positions accounted for more than 94% of liquidations on each of those platforms.
HTX moved against the broader pattern. More than 94% of its $20.1 million in liquidations came from short positions.
Ether (ETH) led liquidations by token at about $135 million during the hour. Bitcoin (BTC) followed with roughly $81.3 million, while Solana (SOL), XRP, Zcash (ZEC) and Dogecoin (DOGE) recorded approximately $21.94 million, $17.1 million, $14.08 million and $10.36 million, respectively.
Bitcoin traded near $81,400, down 2.27% over 24 hours, while Ether stood near $2,454, down 4.33%. Zcash posted the steepest 24-hour decline among the listed assets, at 14.42%.
