Crypto liquidations reached $345.02 million in the hour through 12:03 p.m. ET (16:03 UTC) on Oct. 8, with long positions accounting for $337.61 million, or about 98% of the total.
The tally covered 40,227 liquidations tracked across Binance, Bybit and OKX. Short-position liquidations totaled $7.41 million.
Binance recorded $248.76 million in liquidations, followed by Bybit at $62.26 million and OKX at $34 million. By asset, Ether (ETH) led with $109.27 million, ahead of Bitcoin (BTC) at $64.90 million and Solana (SOL) at $21.27 million.
The figures represent the combined publicly reported liquidation data from the three exchanges for the preceding hour, rather than a marketwide total.
