Zcash Sees $10.88 Million in Long Liquidations in One Hour

Zcash (ZEC) recorded $10.88 million in long-position liquidations during the hour ending at 12:18 p.m. ET (16:18 UTC) on Oct. 8, as the token’s price fell 1.96% from $1,169 to $1,146.

Total liquidations reached $11.64 million during the period. Short-position liquidations accounted for $760,000, while long positions made up the remaining $10.88 million.

The tally covers public liquidation data from Binance, Bybit and OKX and is not a marketwide total. Zcash ranked 10th by market capitalization at the time of the tally.
