Analyst's $50 XRP Scenario Requires $3 Trillion Valuation
Gert van Lagen's projection depends on a breakout above $2.10, stronger performance against Bitcoin and a hypothetical $450,000 Bitcoin price.

XRP would need a market capitalization of about $3 trillion to reach $50 under analyst Gert van Lagen's long-term scenario, making valuation the central hurdle behind the projection.
Van Lagen's analysis uses a symmetrical triangle on XRP's monthly chart. A breakout from the pattern could target about $50, which he described as “normal bull market dynamics for Ripple.”
The chart marks $2.10 as a key resistance zone that XRP would need to clear before the projected move could develop.
The scenario also assumes XRP gains strength relative to Bitcoin (BTC). A return to an XRP-to-Bitcoin ratio near 0.00011, combined with a hypothetical Bitcoin price of about $450,000, would place XRP near $50.
Using $1.40 as the starting price, that move would represent an increase of roughly 3,471%.
At $50 per token and about 60 billion XRP in circulation, the token's market capitalization would reach approximately $3 trillion. With a maximum supply of 100 billion tokens, its fully diluted valuation would reach $5 trillion at the same price.
A $3 trillion market capitalization would exceed Bitcoin's recent valuation of roughly $1.65 trillion. If other major crypto prices remained unchanged, XRP could become the largest cryptocurrency. The fully diluted figure would remain below Nvidia's roughly $5.8 trillion valuation.
The analysis follows an earlier conditional $50 XRP scenario, which also tied the target to specific technical conditions rather than presenting it as a standalone price forecast.
The projection depends on a breakout, XRP's relative performance against Bitcoin, Bitcoin reaching the hypothetical level used in the calculation and the token's circulating supply.
