Ethereum Classic (ETC) fell 7.26% in four hours to $7.79 as of 1:23 p.m. ET (17:23 UTC) on Oct. 8, extending its 24-hour decline to 6.59%.

The token dropped from $8.40 four hours earlier to $7.79 on Binance's ETC/USDT spot market. The figures were calculated from exchange prices collected directly by TokenPost.

One-hour liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX totaled $90,000 in long positions, while short-position liquidations totaled $0. Ethereum Classic ranked 69th by market capitalization at approximately $1.24273 billion.
