USDC Treasury minted $250 million in USD Coin (USDC), increasing the circulating supply of the dollar-pegged stablecoin amid several similarly sized issuances in recent weeks.

USDC is designed to maintain a 1:1 value with the U.S. dollar. The latest creation brings another large issuance to a sequence that included 250 million USDC on Oct. 6, 250 million on Oct. 2 and 250 million on Sept. 29.

Two additional mints on Sept. 25 created 250 million USDC each, for a combined 500 million tokens. The Oct. 6 mint was previously covered by TokenPost.
