MaxLinear shares fell nearly 13% Thursday after a monthlong advance of more than 45%, marking a sharp pullback for the semiconductor company’s stock.

MaxLinear (MXL) develops semiconductor products focused on broadband, data-center infrastructure and AI connectivity applications. The latest decline followed an extended rally that had lifted the shares more than 45% over the previous month.

The move places the stock’s Thursday retreat against a broader period of strong gains.
