XRP traded at $1.38 at 5:38 p.m. ET (21:38 UTC) on Oct. 8, rising 3.76% from $1.33 four hours earlier in a short-term move that contrasted with its 2.61% decline over 24 hours.
The price was measured from Binance’s XRP/USDT spot market using exchange prices collected directly by TokenPost. XRP ranked fifth by market capitalization at about $86.76677 billion.
Short liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX totaled $110,000 during the same hour. Long liquidations totaled $0.
The figures capture XRP’s latest four-hour price change and do not establish a cause for the move.
