A large crypto trader had 28,720 Ether (ETH) liquidated after the asset fell to $2,420, then added $10 million in USDC margin and reopened a long position.

The trader reopened a long position for 9,580 ETH at $2,428, worth about $23.26 million. The earlier liquidation produced a loss of $4.48 million.

The trader’s remaining long exposure was valued at about $288 million, with an unrealized loss of $9.71 million. The position included 78,950 ETH valued at roughly $195 million, with liquidation levels ranging from $2,286 to $2,299.

It also included 1,140 Bitcoin (BTC) valued at about $93.31 million. Those positions had liquidation levels ranging from $72,198 to $74,379 as of 9:18 p.m. ET Thursday (01:18 UTC Friday).
