Privacy Blockchain Leads Crypto Sectors as Data Availability Falls 10.98%

On Oct. 8, Privacy Blockchain led crypto sectors valued at least $2 billion, while Data Availability posted the sharpest decline in the 24-hour period measured at 11:03 p.m. ET.

Privacy Blockchain’s market capitalization increased 11.06% to $8.53 billion, with $634.2 million in trading volume. Data Availability fell 10.98% to $7.25 billion as volume reached $1.93 billion.

Bitcoin Fork was the second-weakest sector, dropping 7.50% to a $6.08 billion market cap on $286.2 million in volume. Chain Abstraction declined 7.32% to $15.89 billion, with $2.19 billion in trading volume.

Automated Market Maker (AMM) fell 7.04% to $11.02 billion, while volume reached $1.89 billion. Index Coop Defi Index declined 6.85% to $7.99 billion on $1.90 billion in volume.

Four other sectors recorded smaller gains. Tokenized Private Credit rose 1.41% to $24.39 billion, with $28 million in volume. Tokenized Gold gained 1.21% to $5.94 billion on $398.7 million in volume.

Tokenized Commodities increased 1.09% to $6.20 billion, with $412.9 million in volume. Crypto-backed Stablecoin advanced 0.96% to $4.92 billion as trading volume reached $416.6 million.

The sectors overlap, so their market capitalizations and percentage changes should not be added together. The results showed a sharp divide between Privacy Blockchain’s gain and declines across five other sectors, with four additional sectors posting modest advances.
